My blogging experience

Tag:, ,

I was introduced to internet publishing business by a friend about two years back. The idea of having my own website and and having Google Adsense on my site got me so excited. I registered for a domain name and got myself a hosting company to host my site. (When selecting a hosting company, make sure you select one that has good background with minimum downtime and good customer service. My preferred hosting company is Hostgator. Should you face any problem, the customer service is available through online chat, real cool) Not too bad for a beginner, I managed to get my website up using a web builder tool provided by the hosting company. But what I had was just a shabby looking website and to maintain the website when there is any updates or changes drove me crazy. It was a tedious process to update all the pages and I spent many hours in doing so.

Later I was introduced to Blogger. I did not understand what a blog was back then. I thought that it was great to have my own diary online, so I signed up for a Blogger account and started recording my journals. To me it was just a great place to share my family pictures with friends and relatives. I also inserted Google ads on my blog hoping that friends and relatives may just click on the ads that attracted their attention and make some money out of that. But nothing happened. I did not know how to promote my blog.

I realised the great potential of blogging when I found this website Wordpress Adsense System by Gobala Krishnan while surfing the internet one day. It totally changed the way I looked at blogging. I realised that it was actually an excellent way to turn your blog into a cash generating machine if you know the way. I took up the offer to download two chapters of the ebook for free. After going through the two chapters, I knew I must have the whole book if I really wanted to make money from my blog. I bought the book and I have not regretted my decision. The book was written in simple terms that make it easy to understand even for a beginner who does not know what a blog is. It comes with step by step guide and screen shots so that readers can understand more easily. As the saying goes, a picture is worth more than a thousand words. There is a vast information provided in the book and the author knows that it will be too much for a new beginner to absorb. To help beginners, he even included a seven days guide plan that teaches you step by step to get your blog up and running, fully functioning with search engine optimization. The end result at the end of the seven days course is a great professionally looking blog that will start generating cash for you. The blog you are reading now is the result of the book. Compared to my first blog using Blogger, it makes a whole lots of different (for comparison purposes, you can take a look at my first blog here) If you like to have a blog like this one which you are reading now and start making money from it, get yourself the two free chapters here.
